 Record Name MUK117 Whitsundale Beck. The Juniper Scar with solitary aspen.
 Record Description Site Type A. Acidic vegetation with Juniper scrub (>20 bushes) and solitary mature aspen tree on small streamside cliff. Some regeneration of the juniper here is evident despite absence of fencing. Other tree species present include downy birch and rowan. See LR Plant List.

 Additional Notes This is a small patch of dense juniper scrub which survives despite absence of any protection. Several very small junipers seen indicating that natural regeneration is taking place here. Several ancient junipers grow on the cliff.
